Chapter Eleven: Connection's part three.

Saga one:Hell's warrior's. -Narrated by Vergil-

"Mary?" I questioned, examining the female, walking out of the shadow's. "Ver-Vergil?!" The woman called out with rage filling her voice.

Her heterochromic eye's revealed wrath her voice had hidden. Light reflected through the ceiling, causing her red-eye to gleam. "You.." She growled, noticing Ayana, suffering from blood loss.
"Did you hurt her?" She hissed as she drew one of her gun's aiming it towards me.

I positioned myself in between her and Ayana, I wasn't going to allow her any closer. "No. I would be her- shinning knight."

Several scent's mingled in the room, Ayana had a herbal fragrance, but now it was hidden by the smell if her blood. Oil, gunpowder and the faint scent of cherry linger in the room, I recognized that smell as Mary's, following her was a honey and sunflower scent. I recognize that aroma as the same aroma my mother had. There was only one person that could match it, that marionette.

She walked up to Mary, putting her hand over the gun lowering it. "He isn't lying. She is very important to him." She explained turning her attention to me.

We were all intensely staring each other down. Waiting for one of us to strike. I suppose it was a good thing those two were prepared for an encounter. Little did they know, we were surrounded. By my count there were at least twenty of them getting ready to break through their portal's, entering the room we stood in.
I didn't care about the other two, my only priority was making sure, Ayana wasn't harmed.

I held my hand in front of me, an icy mist forming around it. I jerked my hand to the right and a shadowed version of my Vocatique Gladius appeared in my hand. Several other normal colored one's appeared around me. Mary's eye's widened, she's never seen me use this much of my power, that and she thought I was attacking her.

Glass sheet's materialized all around the room. Shattering almost as soon as they came to view. I believe that girl now realizes that it was not my intention's to harm her.
The demon's after us were simple one's, nothing that I had never faced before. A group of the Seven Hell's only including: Lust, Envy and Pride.
It was strange that Envy was here. They shouldn't be as they normally only consist in larger demon's as protection.

Trish dropped her hand from Mary's gun, but still kept her back. Mary holstered her small gun, deciding to use the gun she designed off of her mother. One of the Pride's launched itself towards me, striking upwards twice with it's scythe, followed by a horizontal slash which I easily parried. After which I destroyed the creature by commanding one of the Gladius around me to strike it's center and rip through.

I could hear the girls fighting but I wasn't really paying attention to them. A barrage of Mary's rocket's flew passed me, barely giving me enough to dodge it's path.
Another Pride came at me, swinging downwards. I easily blocked it by holding my ebony Gladius horizontal above me. I knocked them back and slashed upwards launching them in the air, where a rocket hit them dead on and turned them to sand.

The girl's were holding their own pretty well and we were all able to protect Ayana from any more damage. I was surprised she was even awake.
Cemetery bell's started to echo through the room we were in as the last of the lower demon's died.
This sound could only mean one thing, Vanguard, Lord of Death was making himself known.

Crow's were cawing in the distance, wolves were hollowing the wind picked up to accompany the eeriness of the bell's tolling. A blue mist soon filled the room.
Trish and Mary were standing over by Ayana, I didn't like that, though I couldn't do anything, I had something to deal with at the moment.

A brief moment passed before the devil showed himself. I may be in a weakened form, but I've defeated plenty Vanguard before.
Vanguard swung his oversized scythe at me which I dodge by jumping backwards. My Gladius followed and I took one of the normal Gladius in the opposite hand of the darkened Galdius. I launched myself towards the beast slashing forward with my right blade, the monster moved back just in time. I followed through with a cross-slash from the same blade as I brought my left blade up forward slashing as well. I lacerated the demon with an upward striking-diagonal blow from the right.

Using my Vocatique spiraling around me I surprised my opponent by shooting all of them directly towards him, severer impaling his newly opened wound. He managed to swing his scythe around himself, blocking a few of them. I materialized more Gladius, striking him in the center, temporarily paralyzing him, just long enough for me to impale him with my black blade. The pathetic being wailed in pain as it turned back to dust.

Saga two:Angel in Blue -Narrated by Ayana(Oc)-

I don't remember much of what happened after we left that building, Vergil was carrying me in his arm's, there were two women with us. They lead us somewhere.
I was lying on a thin mat over a wooden floor, I could tell the floor was wooden from the sound everyone's shoe's were making. Vergil stayed relatively close to me.

"You're sure no one will wonder in here?" The blonde asked as she watched out the window. The short dark-haired girl turned towards her. "No, this place has been abandoned for years. It's owned privately so, when the last owner's left, no one cared about the state this place was in." She explained. "Did you know the owner's?" The blonde, questioned.

Her glare pretty much told the story, she did in fact know the owner's. Why she wouldn't say a word about them is another mystery.

The short-haired girl looked over at myself and Vergil, sitting near me. Rather protectively. "You can take her upstairs, she'd be more comfortable in a bed."

And immediately following those word's he scooped me up in his arm's and carried me to a room at the far end of the upstairs hallway. Knowing Vergil, this wasn't so I'd be more comfortable, but rather so he could get away from those two girl's. This house must've been sitting empty for a long time, so much dust and spiderwebs lined the wall's and ceiling.
When we walked into the room it was strangely clean. Well, cleaner at least. There was still a bit of dust lining the room, no where near as bad as the rest of the house. The bed, a chair and a small personal desk in the room barely had a thing on them. Someone had recently used this room.

He laid me on the bed, throwing a thin blanket over me. "You need to rest." He demanded as his cold glare met my weary eye's.

I reached out for him, his finger's gently intertwined with my own. It was my own way of asking him to stay with me, without using word's. He was so much easier to speak with if you didn't say anything at all. His hand holding mine meant yes.

He sat down next to me so lightly that I would never have even noticed the motion if I were asleep. His hand swept the hair out of my face, as he did I heard him mumble something under his breath. It had to of been a spell, afterward's I feel into a deep slumber.

Exactly how much time had passed, when I awoke it was still dark outside. Vergil noticing I was awake grabbed me by my arm, yanking me out of bed.

"Hey." I protested. "What the hell?" Vergil's glare seemed colder them normal. "I'm going to show you exactly why you shouldn't mess with the black arts." he hissed, dragging me out of them room, down the hall towards a bigger door.

The door was red, a normal person wouldn't have noticed, but a strange symbol was carved very delicately into the door. Vergil reached for the handle, it looked like it had been coated in now-dried blood. As he slowly cracked the door open, a horrible putrid stench came out. Something in there was rotting.

Vergil pulled me to his side. I gasped a bit as I saw what lied beyond.
Bodies, countless bodies pilled around this alter. The alter was in the center of a magic ring with strange symbol's around it. And laying over the alter was the remains of a woman, she's been here a long time, only a few strains of dark hair remained. I could only tell one thing for certain, whoever did this must have hated her, she was cut, stabbed, beaten to no end. Who knows how long she laid there, her heart still beating, still being able to feel the tearing of her flesh. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Vergil let my arm go. "The person who did this. He loved her. He did not plan on marrying her just to use her as a sacrifice, he truly once cared for this woman. But, while studying the black art's he had managed to create a personal demon, one that haunted his mind. That demon told him to do horrible thing's, he took countless lives, he thought those stranger's would satisfy the devil speaking through his mind. He was wrong, those people weren't enough, he didn't know them,, he had no problem with killing a few flies. And so it asked for his wife. Which he gave, without a second thought."

//Authors note: The final scene is based off of a fanfic/Oneshot, Found here ----> www.fanfiction.net/s/3079256/7… //
Awaking in a dark unknown room, neither Ayana or Vergil know where they are, a shadow lurk's around the corner. Ayana is in no condition to fight, and Vergil is barely able to keep himself up from the poison inside his vein's, and his own wound's.

I honestly didn't think this chapter would take this long for being this short.
Eventually I am going to launch a mini series called Tale's of Ice and Fire,  a series dedicated to more info about the character's past's.

I'm going on a limb here and saying the woman at the altar was Lady's mother
